Daniel provides patient-centred care, tailoring treatment and a schedule of care to suit each person’s body and their specific needs.
Daniel graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with distinction in 2011 and has worked in over 15 clinics throughout Australia, including Pacific Islands such as Vanuatu and Solomon Islands, providing much needed charity care to the local people. He is deeply passionate about improving the quality of life of his patients through professional, conscientious and caring attention.
Daniel uses a powerful combination of chiropractic techniques including Trigenics, and in particular he specialises in a widely researched evidence-based technique known as Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP®). The CBP® Technique is one of the foremost investigated techniques in Chiropractic, pioneered by both Dr. Donald and Dr. Deed Harrison. CBP® focuses on the structural rehabilitation of the spine and posture to enable optimal function, movement and health, while simultaneously documenting improvements in pain and functional based outcomes. CBP® has been shown to be effective in helping with conditions such as fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, chronic neck and/or spine pain. Our chiropractors at Breathe Holistic Health are specially trained to deliver CBP® correctly, effectively and safely.
Daniel is also a qualified personal trainer and has also been teaching kick boxing for over a decade. He enjoys helping his patients achieve improved wellbeing by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. Daniel offers personal training in conjunction with Chiropractic treatment as part of a holistic and integrative health care approach to human wellbeing.
What is Chiropractic and why choose it?
Chiropractic is a drug and surgery free form of primary health care that is concerned with the diagnosis, management and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system; this includes the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.
Underlying Chiropractic practice is the premise that the body can respond appropriately to its environment provided that the nervous system is free of interference.
Chiropractors aim to improve nervous system function primarily through Chiropractic adjustments (paying particular attention to the spine, skull and pelvis), in order to help remove any interference that may be impairing your bodies ability to express “normal health”.
Some common reasons people may seek advice or request Chiropractic care include :
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Back pain
- Pregnancy pains
- Neck pain
- Lower back pain
- Disc injuries
- Rib pain
- Recurrent sports injuries
The role of a Chiropractor is to thoroughly look into your presenting history, perform specific orthopaedic, neurological, bio-mechanical assessments and arrange other specialised tests if needed (X-ray, MRI, medical consult etc.) in order to offer you an accurate diagnosis and direct you with the appropriate health care management plan.
In Australia, practicing Chiropractors are required to be registered with AHPRA and undergo, and continue to attend, many postgraduate seminars and conferences allowing them to keep up to date with the latest techniques and developments within the profession, as well as ensure they maintain the highest levels of skills in all aspects of Chiropractic management.
An established standard of care means that you will receive detailed explanations and recommendations, appropriate rehabilitation exercises to retrain and promote long term stability, along with nutritional and lifestyle guidance where needed, aimed at empowering you in the management of your own health.
